Las Leyes de Dios
Habían varios tipos de leyes. Algunas contenían un castigo por el pecado.

1. Los Diez Mandamientos. Fueron escritos por Dios mismo en el Monte Sinaí. La misma naturaleza de los temas sugiere que eran leyes eternas. Curiosamente, la única ley entre los diez que podría ser vista como temporal era la única que podía ser remontada a la creación. Este es el cuarto mandamiento "Acuérdate del día de reposo para santificarlo"
   
   El Sábado fue la primera ley mencionada en la creación. Fue el juramento establecido en la creación. Se convirtió en el cuarto mandamiento.
2. La Ley de Moisés. Fueron llamadas comúnmente la ley de Moisés porque él las escribió. Sin embargo, fue Dios el que le dijo qué escribir en la mayoría de ellas.
   • Fiestas Religiosas y el Sistema Sacrificatorio de las Leyes. Tratándose del santuario, el sacerdocio y los servicios. Estas fueron leyes clavadas en la Cruz. El perfecto sacrificio del Mesías las hizo innecesarias. El sacrificio de animales, las ofrendas de alimento y bebida y los días de reposo asociados con estos rituales debían tener su cumplimiento a tiempo.
     
     Los Otros días de Reposo – habían otros siete días de reposo que estaban conectados con el sistema de las fiestas.
   • Leyes Dietéticas. Describe las prácticas de alimentación limpia e impura. Estas no fueron abolidas. La preocupación por la salud nunca son innecesarias.
   • El Sistema de Leyes de Justicia Criminal y Civil. Estas no fueron abolidas, necesitamos leyes civiles. Sin embargo solo podrían funcionar en una teocracia.
   • Otras Leyes de Salud e Higiene. No fueron abolidas. Necesitamos leyes de higiene. Las ciudades modernas necesitan leyes mejores que las diseñadas para una sociedad nómada que vivía en carpas.

   Dos Grupos de Leyes

   Los diez mandamientos fueron colocados en el arca del pacto. Mientras que las otras leyes fueron colocadas al lado del arca. (Deuteronomio 31: 26).
   Moisés puso el Testimonio dentro del Arca. Colocó las varas en el arca, y el Propiciatorio sobre el Arca. (Éxodo 40: 20).
   
   ... Este tenía el incendiario de oro y el Arca del Pacto cubierta de oro. Esta Arca contenía una urna de oro con el maná, la vara de Aarón que reverdeció y las tablas del pacto. (Hebreos 9: 4).
   
   Tomad este libro de la ley y ponedlo al lado del Arca del Pacto del Señor vuestro Dios… (Deuteronomio 31: 26).
3. Pactos y Promesas. Hay otros acuerdos que están basados en las leyes y promesas de Dios que Él hizo con su creación. Un pacto tiene las características de una ley porque son permanentes tanto tiempo como las dos partes mantengan su acuerdo. Pero los pactos son diferentes porque son acuerdos hechos entre dos partes y legalmente expiran al morir. Las leyes nunca expiran. Las leyes de Moisés son pactos basados en guardar los Diez Mandamientos.
   • Pactos del Medio Ambiente. Estas estaban destinadas a establecer los deberes mutuos de todas las partes de la creación para el bienestar de todos.
     • Tierra. Dios hizo un pacto con la tierra para darle un descanso. (Levítico 26: 34). Él también prometió un ciclo de agricultura estable. (Génesis 8: 22). La tierra también se rinde a la muerte cuando es castigada por ser corrompida. (Levítico 18: 25)
     • El Sol, La Luna, Las Estrellas. Serían usadas como señales y para designar el tiempo. (Génesis 1: 14). Él prometió estaciones (Génesis 8: 22). Él prometió un orden fijo de día y noche. (Jeremías 33: 20; 31: 35-37)
   • Leyes Espirituales. Estas eran leyes que se aplican a los humanos.
     • Dominio. Los seres humanos gobiernan la tierra y la cuidan. (Génesis 1: 26, 28)
     • Ley del Pecado y Muerte. La paga del pecado es muerte. (Génesis 2: 16-17)
     • The Curses. The law defines the other punishments for those who have been separated from God (Deuteronomy 28: 15-68, Leviticus 26: 14-46).
     • Culpa Heredada. Una generación posterior puede sufrir es castigo por sus ancestros si cometen el mismo pecado y se rehúsan a aprender de los errores pasados. En realidad ellos están sufriendo por sus propios pecados, pero el rechazo del testimonio sumado de sus ancestros hace su comportamiento más imperdonable. Como mostramos en nuestra lección de las bendiciones y maldiciones, Dios nos da cinco series de oportunidades antes de dejarnos librados al castigo final la quinta vez. Sobre este principio, las siete últimas plagas son derramadas en la generación final. Aún los habitantes de Sodoma y Gomorra nos condenarán por el testimonio y la evidencia que ignoramos. (Mateo 11: 21-24)
       Y decís: "si hubiéramos vivido en los días de nuestros padres, no habríamos sido cómplices de la sangre de los profetas". "Así dais testimonio contra vosotros, de que sois hijos de los que mataron a los profetas. "¡Vosotros también colmad la medida de vuestros padres!" (Mateo 23: 30-32).
     • Voluntades y Testamentos (Propiedad Heredada). Estas son aplicadas al momento de la muerte.
       Porque donde hay testamento, es necesario que intervenga la muerte del testador. Con la muerte, el testamento queda confirmado, y no es válido entre tanto que el testador vive. (Hebreos 9: 16, 17).
       
       Cristo fue una paradoja que mostró el poder de Dios. Su muerte estableció los términos del pacto. Aún su resurrección garantiza también que el pacto será eterno. Este es un detalle técnico por el cual estamos muy agradecidos.
4. Juramento o Voto. Un juramento no es un acuerdo hecho Es una promesa inquebrantable hecha por una. Es por esto que Dios aconseja a los pecadores a no hacer juramentos. No tenemos la capacidad de mantenerlos en todas las circunstancias.
   Porque la ley constituye sumo sacerdotes a hombres débiles, pero la palabra del juramento posterior a la ley, constituyó al Hijo, hecho perfecto para siempre. (Hebreos 7: 28)
   
   La promesa inquebrantable de Dios nos dio a Cristo.
   Los otros sin juramento fueron hecho sacerdotes; pero éste, con el juramento del que dijo: "juró el Señor, y no desistirá. Tú eres sacerdote para siempre. (Hebreos 7: 21). Vea también Hebreos 5: 6 y Salmos 110: 4.

Ruptura, Cambios y Refuerzo de Pactos.
Las leyes no pueden ser quebrantadas nunca. Los pactos no son técnicamente quebrantados tampoco. Son cambiados para garantizar que pueden permanecer porque están hechos con mejores promesas y habilidades. La infidelidad de una de las partes, fuerza a la parte fiel a encontrar formas mejores para mantener el pacto. De esta manera la siguiente declaración siempre es verdadera. Dios nunca cambia. Nuestra infidelidad no lo hace a Él imponer los castigos del pacto, porque Él está más interesado en la misericordia.
"Yo el Señor, no cambio. Por eso vosotros, hijos de Jacob, no habéis sido consumidos. (Malaquías 3: 6).

Los pactos cambian por diferentes razones.

• Muerte. Volver a casarse está permitido en este principio. La muerte de la tierra vieja termina muchos pactos del medio ambiente.
• Infidelidad. El Divorcio está permitido a causa de este principio.
• Cambio en Detalles. Esto es a lo que amorosamente nos referimos como detalles técnicos
  Pues, al cambiar el sacerdocio, es necesario cambiar también la ley del sacerdocio. Aquél de quien esto se dice, es de otra tribu, de la cual nadie se dedicó a oficiar en el altar. (Hebreos 7: 12-13).
• Reemplazo. La ley de Moisés solo se aplicó al sacerdocio de la tribu de Leví. Dios tenía el derecho terminar el pacto porque Israel fue infiel. Esto le dio a Él el derecho de establecer un nuevo pacto. En este caso, "nuevo" no implica diferente. Implica mejor. Tiene los mismos objetivos y métodos y satisface las mismas leyes.
  Pero ahora tanto mejor ministerio es el de Jesús, por cuanto es mediador de un pacto mejor, basado sobre mejores promesas. Si el primer pacto hubiera sido sin defecto, no se hubiera procurado un segundo pacto. (Hebreos 8: 6, 7).
  
  Mejores Promesas. "Este es el pacto que haré con la casa de Israel, después de aquellos días – dice el Señor -: Pondré las leyes en la mente de ellos, las escribiré sobre su corazón; y seré su Dios, y ellos serán mi pueblo. (Hebreos 8: 10).
  These are the better promises of the New Covenant.
  • Children. We will be fruitful and our children will survive.
  • Land. We will inherit the entire earth, and the Land of Israel will be the new throne of God.
  • Name. They will see His face and His name will be on their foreheads. (Revelation 22: 4)
  • Law. The law will be in our hearts (Hebrews 8: 10).
  • Mediator. Our mediator will not be our accuser. He will be our husband.
  • Circumcision. He will put enmity between us and Satan, but bring us closer to God. He is our husband.
  • Sacrifice. The sacrifice will be made once for all time.
  • Death. There will be no more death.
  • Curse. There will no longer be any curse. (Revelation 22: 3)
  The covenant is renewed when there is a major change, death, change of name or major fulfillment of an agreement.

Leyes de Justicia Civil y Criminal
Cuando Jesús apeló por perdón sobre la ley de "ojo por ojo, diente por diente" Él en efecto estaba diciendo que tú puedes basar tu sistema de justicia criminal en la compasión y el perdón. Estas probablemente no fueron técnicamente clavadas en la cruz, porque tales leyes son necesarias, pero con la revelación del carácter de Dios nosotros podemos también basar nuestras leyes en el perdón y la reconciliación. Nosotros podemos seguir el camino perfecto.

Dos Testigos
También, nadie puede ser condenado por el testimonio de un testigo. Al menos dos testigos se necesitaban para testificar la verdad. En Apocalipsis, Dios también tiene dos testigos que testifican de Él. Ellos podían ser la Ley y los Profetas (representados por Moisés y Elías) en el Monte de la Transfiguración. O, ellos podrían ser el Antiguo y los Nuevos testamentos. Pero como el Nuevo Testamento no fue escrito o ensamblado en un libro en el tiempo en que las profecías del Apocalipsis fueron dadas, los dos testigos podrían ser la Ley y los Profetas - ambos son una luz que muestra la Palabra de Dios.

Ciudades de Refugio
Dios estableció varias ciudades de refugio para todos, De esta manera Él puede mostrar su misericordia.
Refugio. De las ciudades que daréis a los Levitas, seis serán de refugio para asilo del homicida. Además. Les daréis 42 ciudades.
Para Todos. Esas seis ciudades sean para refugio del israelita y del extranjero que viva entre ellos, para que huyan allá cualesquiera que por yerro hiera de muerte a otro. (Números 35: 6, 15).

El Vengador de la Sangre. El vengador de la sangre matará al homicida, cuando lo encuentre. (Números 35: 19).
La persona que comete asesinato puede ser matada por un vengador. Este es un pariente de la persona muerta. Pero el asesino puede huir a una ciudad de refugio y escapar al juicio del vengador de la sangre. Aquí espera seguro por un juicio o por la muerte del Sumo Sacerdote. Después de la muerte del sumo sacerdote el pude regresar a su vida previa.

Juicio. Esas ciudades servirán de asilo contra el vengador, para que el homicida no muera antes de presentarse a juicio ante la congregación.
Entonces la congregación juzgará entre el heridor y el vengador de la sangre, conforme a estas leyes. Y la congregación librará al homicida accidental de mano del vengador, y lo devolverá a su ciudad de refugio, donde se había aislado. Y vivirá en ella hasta que muera el sumo sacerdote ungido con el aceite santo. (Números 35: 12, 24,25).
La Muerte del Sumo Sacerdote. ... Después que muera el sumo sacerdote, el homicida podrá volver a la tierra de su posesión. (Números 35: 28).

Bajo el nuevo pacto el pecador también se parará frente a la congregación al final del tiempo, después del milenio. La ley no ha cambiado.
Bajo el nuevo pacto el Sumo Sacerdote es Cristo y la ciudad de refugio es la Nueva Jerusalem (Isaías: 5-6; Salmos 7: 4-5) Esta ley no fue cambiada. Como nuestro Sumo Sacerdote nunca morirá, esto significa que debemos vivir en la ciudad de la Nueva Jerusalem o la casa de Dios por siempre. ¡Esto es lo que sucede! Imagine, una ley que está destinada a mostrar misericordia tonel pecador, también se convierte en una maravillosa recompensa.
Dios es nuestro refugio y fortaleza, nuestro pronto auxilio en las tribulaciones. (Salmos 46: 1).
Bajo el nuevo y el viejo pacto Dios es el vengador que no quiere tomar venganza, aún. Él quiere perdonar.
... Mía es la Venganza, yo retribuiré. (Hebreos 10: 30; Deuteronomio 32: 35)

Leyes Públicas de Salud
Las leyes de la salud pública y la sanación eran necesarias para evitar enfermedades. Cuando estas leyes fueron dadas, ellos eran un pueblo nómada, vagando por el desierto cuarenta años. Esta ley se aplicaría aún a cualquier grupo de gente en condiciones semejantes.

Estas no son básicamente leyes morales, pero la sabiduría prescribe que en tanto y en cuanto sigamos principios científicos podemos adaptar las leyes a nuestra tecnología. Estas leyes tan antiguas son muy inadecuadas para el tamaño moderno de las ciudades. Así que ahora tenemos sistemas de cloacas, y de esta forma ya no necesitamos cavar pozos a cierta distancia lejos de nuestros hogares. Solo necesitamos asegurarnos que ellas no entren en nuestro suministro de agua y alimentos. Los antiguos no tenían la tecnología y recursos para construir infraestructura que cuidara de sus necesidades sanitarias.

Leyes Dietarias: Limpio e Impuro
La dieta original consistía en frutas, granos, y verduras para toda la creación. Después del diluvio, no había suministro de alimento entonces Dios instituyó un principio dietario que proveía la guía apropiada y se permitió comer carne de animales bajo esos principios. Después de este periodo notamos que el período de vida del hombre cayó dramáticamente, de un promedio de 400 a 70 años. El ideal por lo tanto es la dieta original del Edén.

Después de la Creación
Había una dieta vegetariana para todas las criaturas.
También dijo Dios: "Os doy toda planta que da semilla, que está sobre la tierra, y todo árbol que lleva fruto y da semilla. Eso será vuestro alimento. Y a todo animal terrestre, a todas las aves del cielo y a todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra, que tiene vida, toda hierba verde será su alimento". Y así sucedió. (Génesis 1: 29, 30).

Limpio Inmundo Vegetarianos Basureros Usada para el sacrificio Abominación

Después del Diluvio
Las reglas cambiaron después del diluvio porque la tierra fue devastada, pero este no era el ideal. Pero en aquel tiempo todos sabían el concepto de animales limpio e inmundo.
Animales Limpios. "De todo animal limpio tomarás siete parejas, macho y hembra. Pero de los animales que no son limpios, una pareja, macho y hembra. (Génesis 7: 2).
Leyes Dietarias. Todo lo que se mueve y vive, os servirá de alimento, así como legumbres y las plantas verdes. Pero n comáis carne con su vida, que es su sangre. (Génesis 9: 3-4).

Después del Éxodo
Sobre el Monte Sinaí, Dios dio una ley más detallada en Levíticos 11. El definió a diferencia física entre limpio e inmundo.

Torciendo las Leyes
Con nuestro conocimiento científico, surge usualmente la pregunta, ¿podemos determinar de lo que Dios nos estaba protegiendo y usar la ciencia para convertir los alimentos inmundos en alimentos limpios?
Usamos ese argumento para las leyes de sanidad, por qué no para las leyes dietarias? ¿Podríamos usar el mismo argumento para tener nuestro propio sistema moderno de sanidad a cambio de las leyes viejas para determinar como los alimentos "inmundos"pueden ser acomodados para el uso humano? Podríamos, pero, hay al menos tres problemas, primero es que sabemos lo que Dios intentaba y segundo, los remedios que usamos tales como calentar estos alimentos a una temperatura más alta estaban claramente disponibles como una opción para los antiguos así que ¿por qué Dios no les dice que coman estos alimentos solo si los cocinaste a una temperatura más elevada?

La respuesta es que la tecnología moderna no puede mantener las verdades espirituales que son también una parte de estas prohibiciones. Lección mostramos como los animales limpios de las leyes de Dios representan a Cristo y porqué solo algunos de ellos son usados como sacrifico.

¿Qué fue Abolido?
Hay algunos argumentos comunes usados para probar que todas las leyes han sido anuladas. Intentamos mostrar que ninguna de esas leyes fue anulada. Lo que ocurrió es que cuando Cristo fue presentado primero como Sumo Sacerdote, luego el Rey y luego Juez, Él procedió a señalar jueces y a establecer los tiempos de administrar justicia. El mensaje del evangelio es que como Rey recientemente señalado, Él ha elegido hacer la paz con Sus enemigos para que el mundo sea ahora una familia. El mensaje del evangelio es también que nosotros no hemos sido señalados como jueces y Dios ha establecido un tiempo para el juicio en el futuro donde Él preside como Juez.

La Visión de Pedro (The Gentiles are Clean)
De hecho era una ley dietaria, citada en la visión de Pedro que es usada como un argumento de que Jesús se deshizo de todas las Leyes judías. Pero de acuerdo a la historia estos son los hechos:
"Levántate Pedro, mata y come". (Hechos 10: 13)
Pedro tenía hambre cuando tiene la visión. En la visión, Pedro vio una gran sábana, llena de animales de todas clases – limpios e inmundos. Entonces escuchó la invitación a matar y comer. Más tarde la voz le dijo que lo que Dios ha limpiado no es profano. De acuerdo al versículo 17, aunque la visión se repitió tres veces el aún no había entendido lo que significaba.

1. Pedro estaba confundido en cuanto a lo que significaba la visión. Claramente, el ni siquiera pensó que la visión no estaba relacionada con un cambio de las leyes.
2. Al final Pedro aprendió que el no debía clasificar a la gente como limpia o inmunda nunca más. Dios ha provisto limpieza para todas las personas.
   La Interpretación de Pedro. Sin embargo, Pedro aparentemente no pensó eso. "Y mientras Pedro estaba perplejo dentro de si sobre lo qué significaría la visión" (versículo 17). El aparentemente no pensó que Dios había limpiado a los animales.
   
   Entonces Pedro se encuentra con Cornelio, que era gentil y un grupo de creyentes extranjeros.
   Él les dice en Hechos 10:28. "Pero a mí me ha mostrado Dios que a ningún hombre llame común o inmundo".
   Dios había limpiado a los gentiles, no al cerdo que los Judíos podían asociar con los gentiles.

La historia de la visión de Pedro ha sido usada para probar que la ley ha sido anulada y que esta fue una de las leyes "clavadas en la cruz" en la muerte de Jesús.

¿Cuáles leyes fueron magnificadas, cuales fueron clavadas en la cruz? El magnificó los diez mandamientos, haciendo que los motivos y pensamientos fueran tan ofensivos como las acciones. Aunque ellos no tengan ni la tercera parte en los efectos que la acción provoca, ellos posiblemente tengan la misma culpa como quién inició el pensamiento o la acción.

Lo Inmundo
Yo sé, y confío en el Señor Jesús, que nada es más inmundo en sí mismo; mas para el que piensa que algo es inmundo, para él lo es. (Romanos 14: 14).
Porque todo lo que Dios creó es bueno, y nada es de desecharse, si se toma como acción de gracias; porque por la palabra de Dios y por la oración es santificado. (1 Timoteo 4: 4-5).
Del Nuevo Testamento aprendemos que nada de lo que fue creado era básicamente inmundo lo que una vez fue inmundo puede volverse limpio. Así que veamos estas cosas y ampliemos nuestro entendimiento del concepto de inmundo.

Las cosas son definidas como inmundas porque representan realidades que no existirán en el cielo.

• Gentiles. Un Gentil es inmundo porque en el cielo todos conocerán y obedecerán al verdadero Dios de Israel.
• Animales. Los animales inmundos no son vegetarianos. Un animal es inmundo porque en el cielo ellos serán vegetarianos y mansos. Ellos no se matarán entre ellos para alimentarse.
• Cadáveres. Los muertos son inmundos porque la muerte no existirá en el Cielo.
• Espíritus Inmundos. Los demonios de Apocalipsis 16 son inmundos porque ellos están en un lugar al que no pertenecen, comportándose de una manera para la cual no fueron creados. Los ángeles son mensajeros de Dios que hacen la voluntad de Dios, No se supone que estén guiando una rebelión contra Dios.
  Y a los ángeles que no guardaron su dignidad, sino que abandonaron su propia morada, los ha guardado bajo oscuridad, en prisiones eternas, para el juicio del gran día. (Judas 1: 6).

El hecho de que Dios permitió carne fresca para ser comida después del diluvio, muestra que los cuidados sobre el alimento no están en el mismo orden de importancia que la idolatría. La idolatría siempre lleva a la muerte. El alimento a la vida, aún si algunos eventualmente acortan la expectativa de vida. Así que en defensa de la vida y en una emergencia ciertos comportamientos están permitidos. Tomar una vida en defensa propia está permitido, pero no matar. Comer cualquier carne disponible es preferible a morir de hambre.
Pero el ideal que existe ene. Cielo no incluirá estos. Así que no hay nada malo en esforzarse por llegar al ideal.
Así que el principio no es un defecto inherente o un estado inmundo del objeto que es evitado. El principio más elevado es preservar la vida.

Clavado en la Cruz
El segundo argumento dice que Jesús tomó ciertas leyes y "las clavó en la cruz". Este pasaje también es dado como prueba de que las leyes fueron abolidas incluido el día de reposo.
Anulando el acta de los decretos que había contra nosotros, que nos era contraria, quitándola de en medio y clavándola en la cruz. Por tanto, nadie os juzgue en comida o en bebida, o en cuanto a días de fiesta, luna nueva o días de reposo, todo lo cual es sombra de lo que ha de venir; pero el cuerpo es de Cristo. (Colosenses 2: 14, 16 - 17)

No Juzgues. Alimento y bebida, fiestas, luna nueva y días de reposo. Todos estos eran parte de las leyes ceremoniales. Las leyes que requieren todo asesinato de animales era"contraria a ellos". Estas fueron quitadas y clavadas en la cruz.
Las maldiciones eran también hostiles a ellos y Cristo sufrió estas en la cruz. Estas fueron clavadas en la cruz, o cumplidas por Cristo. Comparemos las leyes.

• Leyes Ceremoniales.
  • Alimento y Bebida. Cada sacrificio incluía una ofrenda de comida y bebida.
  • Fiestas. Habían varias fiestas que señalaban la tarea de Cristo.
  • Luna Nueva. Esta era el primer día del mes. Era un tiempo especial que requería ceremonias adicionales.
    • Ofrendas. Una ofrenda adicional era llevada a cabo en luna nueva y en día de reposo. (Números 28: 9,11)
    • El Llamado de la Trompeta. En la luna nueva y las fiestas se hacía sonar la trompeta. (Números 10: 10).

    1. Pascua (Día 2). Cristo murió como el cordero de la Pascua, una vez y para siempre.
    2. Ofrenda de la Gavilla. Cristo se presentó el mismo a su Padre el domingo después que murió.
    3. Pentecostés. Vino el Espíritu Santo.
    4. Fiesta de las trompetas. Dios nos juzga.
    5. Día de la Expiación. Dios nos defiende y justifica.
    6. Fiesta de los Tabernáculos (Día 1). El nacimiento de Cristo, la Segunda Venida y la llegada de la iglesia al cielo.
    7. Fiesta de los Tabernáculos (Día 8). La circuncisión de Cristo y la quita permanente del pecado cuando regresemos s la tierra.
    Los últimos cuatro sábados deben haber sido completados en el cielo por una ceremonia con los primeros frutos. Para el año 1844, el Día de la Expiación y la Fiesta de las Trompetas estaban cumplidos. Sin embargo, como Cristo no ha regresado, la fiesta de los tabernáculos puede no haber sido cumplida en su más completa forma porque los humanos no han ido a vivir con Dios.

  Life Insurance. He takes away the first, that He may establish the second. (Hebrews 10: 8-9)
  Christ was nailed to the cross. The system of continually sacrificing animals was gone forever. This was a law that was hostile to Christ and to the animal kingdom.
  It was taken away so that a better system could be installed. The better system removed the curses, stopped the ceremonial laws that required continual killings and sacrifices and cured the sinner of the desire to sin so that they are no longer under condemnation by the Ten Commandments.
  
  » The Ten Commandments: A Ministry of Death and Condemnation? Paul seems to suggest that the law written on stones has been annulled. The only law that was written on stones is the Ten Commandments, not the ceremonial laws or curses. So it is the Ten Commandments that is annulled as the argument states.
  We can understand Paul's reasoning if we understand the perspective if the Plan of Salvation. We are sinners. All the law can do is to define sin for us and remind us that we are condemned to death. It is useless in fixing the problem of sin. But the Law has not been repealed. It had been written on something better. This is the promise of the new covenant.
  Old Covenant. Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired. My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You have not required. Then I said, "Behold I come. In the scroll of the book it is written of me".
  New Covenant. I delight to do Your will, O my God. Your law is written in my heart. (Psalm 40: 6-8)
  The new covenant opens our ears and writes the Law on our heart.
  • A Ministry That Kills. Paul also calls these laws a ministry of death. Remember that the details of the ministry of death was written in the ceremonial laws to satisfy the punishments demanded by the curses. This ministry required sacrifices and blood that was taken and sprinkled before the covenant (the Ten Commandments). Yet, since it did not perfect the sinner, this ministry of continual death could potentially continue forever.
    
    It Kills. who has made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
    Ministry of Death. But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory?
    Ministry of Condemnation. For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory. (2 Corinthians 3: 6-9)
    You can focus on the negative portrayal of the law and forget that Paul also says that this Law is glorious. However, Paul says that it is not as glorious as the permanent solution. The external Law on stones can show us what is sin and what makes us fall short of the glory of God. It cannot help us to be faithful to the laws.
    
    A Letter Written on Flesh. being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. (2 Corinthians 3: 3)
    However, the internal Law written on the fleshy heart by the Holy Spirit is the permanent solution. But it is the same list of Laws. Written on stones it is useless, but written on the heart it is powerful. If is remains written only on stone then we are doomed to death, because we will remain sinners. When we are perfect then there is no need of sacrifices, so this solution ends the ministry of death but it does not end the Law.
  • A Ministry That Is Passing Away. This ministry of condemnation will pass away when it is replaced by the better method of writing it on our hearts.
    It is Passing Away. For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory. (2 Corinthians 3: 11)
    Remember that God said the following about the law. Christ did not come to remove the law.
    The Law Had Not Passed Away. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, Until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5: 17-20)
    » When Heaven and Earth Pass Away. So even if it is passing away, it will not pass away until the new heavens and earth are created. It will pass away after people are judged by the Ten Commandments. By then nobody will have to teach the law from an external source. Everyone will know what the Law requires.
    Taught by the Spirit. As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. (1 John 2: 27)
    This is not an undisciplined, haphazard, personal belief based on feelings where everyone does what is right in his own eyes. Even the Spirit cannot contradict the written word. His anointing must be "true and not a lie". So the Spirit that teaches must also uphold the Ten Commandments because He teaches out out of the Law.
    » The Law of Sacrifices. Yet we can say that even the sacrificial law has not been done away with because our sins are being atoned by the blood of Christ who was sacrificed. We still use a sacrificial system through a High Priest who is still following all the laws of the Old Testament to remove our sins. The difference is that we do not need to make another sacrifice because the Lamb of God is still fresh and still bleeding and He promises to perfect us.
  • A Dead Law or a Dead Sinner? Some claim that Paul teaches that the Law is dead. Death annuls all contracts and responsibilities such as marriage. This is why remarriage is allowed after the death of a spouse and why no legal marriages will exist at the resurrection of the dead. So if the law is dead then it does not have jurisdiction over us.
    Our Contract With The Law. The law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives.
    The Dead Sinner. But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we are bound, so that we serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter. (Romans 7: 1,4,6)
    Paul makes the logical argument that a contract ends when one of the parties dies. But in this argument it is not the Law that dies it is the sinner.
    However, even if is is the sinner who dies, that still releases us from the contract we have with the Law. But we must be joined to Christ who can raise us from the dead because He gained the power to raise the dead.
    What does this new marriage to Christ do? It binds us to a contract with Christ. We keep the same set of Laws but it is based on better promises and a better method for keeping it that He inaugurated. Christ had the same laws of God written in His heart. He came to honor and keep those laws.
    The objects in the Ark of the Covenant tell us what Christ will accomplish by the mercy of God.
    • Ten Commandments. A promise to keep the Law.
    • Aaron's Rod that Budded and Grew Almonds. A promise of resurrection and bearing fruit
    • Jar of Manna. A promise to remove the power of the curses.
    
    The Law Does Not Make Us Sin. What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be!
    The Law Defines Sin.On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, "You shall not covet". (Romans 7: 7)
    Internally, we now naturally know what is sin, not because we do what we feel is right. We know what is sin because the same set of laws written on stone is the same set of laws written on the heart.
  
  » The Renewing of the Covenant. If you look at the history of the Covenant in the Old Testament, God always renews the same covenant with each Generation. It is always the same promises and terms. God never deletes or removes any terms, but He always adds something new or better to strengthen the covenant. This is what happened with Christ. It is the same covenant, same laws and same rules, but with better provisions. A permanent and better High Priest and sacrifice and a better way of keeping the Law. God basically says, if they will not read it and learn it and obey it, then why not write it in their minds in the place where they love?

  • La Ley de los Mandamientos en Ordenanzas. Las leyes ceremoniales fueron también llamadas disenciosas.
  Pero ahora en Cristo Jesús, vosotros que en otro tiempo estabais lejos, habéis sido hechos cercanos por la sangre de Cristo. Porque él es nuestra paz, que de ambos pueblos hizo uno, derribando la pared intermedia de separación, aboliendo en su carne las enemistades, la ley de los mandamientos expresados en ordenanzas, para crear en sí mismo de los dos un solo y nuevo hombre, haciendo la paz. (Efesios 2: 13-15).
  
  » The Divisions. Christ made peace with various groups by His death. It was symbolized by the veil at the Most Holy Place which was torn in two (Matthew 27: 51).
  • Jews and Gentiles. There is peace between all people, because we are all children of Israel in Christ.
  • Priests and Common People. The common people can now enter the Holy Place of the sanctuary, because they are now priests of God and only priests can enter the sanctuary.
  • Heaven and Earth. There is peace between heaven and earth. The people of earth can enter heaven because the High Priest has removed the dividing wall at the Most Holy Place and He has invited all the priests to come in.

Changing the Feasts and Sabbaths After the Crucifixion.
Uno hace diferencia entre día y día; otro juzga iguales todos los días. Cada uno esté plenamente convencido en su propia mente. El que hace caso del día, lo hace para el Señor; y el que no hace caso del día, para el señor no lo hace. El que come, para el señor come, porque da gracias a Dios; y el que no come, para el Señor no come, y da gracias a Dios. (Romanos 14: 5-6)
El argumento aquí no es sobre el día de descanso semanal. Era sobre mantener los días de reposo ceremoniales y las comidas asociadas con ellos. Pero Pablo concluye que aquellos que los mantienen están aún recordando al Señor. Y aquellos que no recuerdan al Señor en ese día a traves de de esa comida pueden igual dar gracias a Dios por Cristo sin asistir a una fiesta.

All the confusion can be resolved if you understand the decisions they faced. The issues after the crucifixion were how to change the feasts to reflect the sacrifice of the perfect lamb.
Let us look at the problems involving the Passover meal (seder).

• Meat. The seder plate has two servings of meat.
• Vegetables. There were three servings of vegetables and herbs and one dish of nuts and spices.
• Drink. The seder includes four glasses of wine and unleavened bread.

Food. One person has faith that he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats vegetables only. (Romans 14: 2)
So after the crucifixion the issue was, "do we eat the vegetables only?" And if we eat a Passover lamb are we denying the perfect sacrifice of Christ by essentially condoning animal sacrifice? Paul's answer really reflects the fact that it depends on if we fully understand the meaning of the symbols. We can celebrate these feasts as often as possible as long as we acknowledge the correct and complete actions of Christ. We will not be returning to bondage if we diminish the importance of the non-Sabbath portions of the feasts by explaining their fulfillment.
If you compare our Easter traditions to the Passover Seder it is clear that we did not understand the power of Passover and we would have been better off if we had kept Passover instead.

Bondage and Freedom.
Let us look at the changes to the feast days before we understand Paul's reasoning in Galatians 4.

Technically, the feasts laws have not been abolished. We are simply living during the sabbaths of those feasts in the years after Christ. It is a time of rest and freedom when we are being represented by the High Priest on the Day of Atonement. So, like the food, the issue is how do we celebrate those sabbaths and the period leading up to the Sabbath. Those days represent the time of bondage before Christ died. The Sabbath represents the rest we have after Christ came.
» Sabbaths Abolished? But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years. (Galatians 4: 9-10)
So when Paul laments the times we celebrate, he condemns the times that are symbolic of our slavery.

• Days. The seven ceremonial Sabbaths represent our rest from various consequences of sin. However, except tabernacles, the days before the sabbaths represents slavery and death. Nisan 14 was the condemnation and death of Christ. Nisan 15 was the sabbath.
• Months. The entire months of Tishri and Nisan are filled with feast days. The weeks leading up to Pentecost represent the times without the Messiah when we are waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit.
  » Weeks. From Nisan to Sivan the feast of weeks is celebrated.
• Seasons. The spring and fall seasons are the time of feasts of Nisan and Tishri.
• Years. The Sabbath years and the Jubilee. The six years before the sabbath and the 49 years before the jubilee represent the times of slavery and debt.
  » End of Slavery. After the crucifixion, the system of debt bondage was abolished. It had served its purpose like animal sacrifices. That system taught them what God would do for them and the terms of the slavery into which Adam and Eve had sold us. God does not condone slavery anymore than He condones animal sacrifices. But slavery was where He found us and from which He had to redeem us. So the terms of slavery were regulated until we had freedom in Christ.

It is now clear why Jesus said that the laws are not abolished until all is fulfilled. They still exist. We are merely living in the Sabbath days of the feasts. So we have another controversy. How do we regard the normal calendar in this period of perpetual Sabbath?
» Are All Days Equal? One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. (Romans 14: 5)
He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God. (Romans 14: 6)
Finally, we can understand Paul's attitude. When we observe the feast days correctly, we are acknowledging what Christ accomplished. When we eat the meat in the Passover, we are remembering how they gnashed their teeth at Him, spit on Him and tore Him apart. This is really no different than eating the broken bread, except that now an unnecessary death occurs to preserve the symbol when we eat the meat. This is why some might eat the vegetables and the bread only. However, both groups give thanks to God if they acknowledge both the bondage that God suffered as well as the freedom He provided. When Christ asks us to eat the bread and wine to remember His death, He was telling us to remember the bondage from which He saved us.

All the feast Sabbaths point to rest from some aspect of the consequences of sin.

• Weekly Sabbath (Rest From Hard Labor, Creation and Recreation). This Sabbath provides one other purpose. It celebrates the power of God and the completed work. We do not rest from this task of praising God. We rest from all other works so that we can praise and honor Him together as one grateful creation.
• Passover (Rest From the Penalty of Sin and the Curse). This is the one feast that we can agree seems to be fulfilled, yet Jesus asked the disciples to still do this to remember Him. Why? The feasts still prove to the future generations that Jesus was the Messiah 2000 years after the event and they prove that God can predict the future in great detail. Furthermore, Jesus seems to suggest that it is only partially fulfilled. He has not drunk the fourth cup.
  And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this you should do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you do show the Lord's death till He comes. (1 Corinthians 11: 24-26)
  The broken bread and the first three cups point to His death. The fourth cup points to His return.
  The global Passover is not complete until He drinks the fourth cup.
  » The Barley Harvest Wavesheaf (Rest From Death). This was fulfilled at the resurrection and it may not be fulfilled again until the final fruit harvest which ends in the general resurrection of all the righteous.
  The global wavesheaf is not complete until the first resurrection at the Second Coming.
  » Land Sabbath (Year 7 and 49). The result of the crucifixion represents the spiritual rest coming to the earth during the land Sabbaths. But the Jubilee represents the coming of the Holy Spirit in year 50.
• Pentecost (Rest From the Desire to Sin). This feast was fulfilled when the Holy Spirit came to write the law into our hearts. However, since Joel predicts that the Holy Spirit will be poured out again there may be another outpouring of the Holy Spirit during this feast for the last generation.
  The global Pentecost is not complete until the second outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the people obtain perfection when the law is written on our hearts.
  » The Wheat Harvest Wavesheaf. This was fulfilled at Pentecost. However in the future, we expect a great harvest of Jews, but they are part of the fruit harvest.
• Rosh Hashannah (Rest From Darkness). This feast is being fulfilled. We cannot separate the issues of Rosh Hashannah from Yom Kippur.
  The global feast of trumpets or call to judgment is not complete until the judgment before the throne of God ends.
  » New Moon. Rosh Hashannah is the most important of the new moon ceremonies. These represent the beginning of a new phase of the church. Only six new moons have been fulfilled. See the prophecy of the seven churches. The purpose for keeping them now would be to remind ourselves of the link between the first and last church.
• Yom Kippur (Rest From Accusation and Condemnation). This feast has not been fulfilled. Only the Lord's Goat has been killed. But we are living during the period of Yom Kippur so it would be wise to learn this feast so we can be filled with the sense of awe about how important the issues are.
  The global Yom Kippur is not complete until the scapegoat is banished at the Second Coming and killed at the Third Coming.
• Tabernacles (Rest From Imprisonment and Separation). This feast has not been fulfilled. In fact, they contain instructions for the last generation. There were two Sabbaths at the beginning and the end. Both represent leaving the old earth and returning to the new earth so that we can rest in a place of perfection.
  The two sabbaths of the global tabernacles have only begun in faith as the Holy Spirit lives with us. Pentecost is the promise of that new life, that is counted like the jubilee. It is day fifty after counting seven weeks like the jubilee is year fifty after counting seven weeks of years.
  The first jubilee Sabbath begins at the Second Coming when we live in temporary shelters with God in heaven. It is only during the second sabbath of tabernacles at the third coming that we will live in permanent homes with God after He creates the new heavens and earth.

So the issue is how do we regard the ceremonial Sabbaths if the weekly Sabbath celebrates the rest that they prophesied about? If you celebrate the weekly Sabbath and highlight these freedoms then I can also conclude with Paul that you can decide about keeping the ceremonial Sabbaths annually because you are already keeping them weekly.

So we conclude with the writer of Hebrews that there remains a rest for the people of God and He would not have given another day (Hebrews 4: 8-11). The weekly Sabbath, created before sin, is the only Sabbath that celebrates all these periods of rest. We get to celebrate the rest provided by all the feast sabbaths as often as possible every Sabbath.
So Jesus rested on the weekly Sabbath at His death because the two Sabbaths had merged. This might establish a pattern that every time one of these global Sabbaths are fulfilled, it will be fulfilled on a high Sabbath. So the weekly Sabbath will take the place of all the feast Sabbaths. Passover was celebrated once a year, but Jesus indicated that we can do it "as often as possible". So that like the Passover, we can remember Jesus as often as possible when we remember the feast sabbaths every weekly Sabbath.

Remember that there is a spiritual and physical fulfillment of the feasts. As we have just demonstrated, the death of Jesus Christ ushered in the spiritual fulfillment of all these feasts and their Sabbaths. However, at the Second Coming, the physical fulfillment of the autumn feasts will occur.

Slavery.
Slavery is not a wonderful idea that simply needs regulation or benevolent owners. Regulations on slavery are addressed by the Bible because slavery was the conditions under which God found us after sin began. When Adam and Eve sinned they sold themselves and their children into slavery to a kidnapper and tyrant who held us for ransom. While we waited for God to pay the ransom, we were held in bondage to sin. Amazingly, after the ransom was paid and while God is leading us out on an exodus we want to stay in bondage and return to slavery!
So, technically the laws on slavery still exist. But after the crucifixion we were free men waiting for an inheritance and waiting to return home. But it is not freedom from the law, it is strength to keep the law. Our inheritance is a pure heart and eternal life.
So, if the laws on slavery still exist, can Christians own slaves? No! We cannot. The laws on slavery have two conditions that prevent us from owning slaves.

• Forced Slavery. There is a death penalty for kidnapping and forced slavery (Exodus 21: 16).
• Voluntary Slavery. We are not allowed to enslave our brother. Christ reconciled the world into one group and everyone is our brother to whom we have a duty to rescue from slavery, even if poverty forces them to sell themselves to a stranger.

Ojo por Ojo.
Y el que causare lesión en su prójimo, según hizo, así le sea hecho: rotura por rotura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; según la lesión que haya hecho a otro, tal se le hará a él. (Levíticos 24:19, 20)
Ojo por ojo, diente por diente, mano por mano, pie por pie, quemadura por quemadura, herida por herida, golpe por golpe. (Éxodo 21: 24)
Y no le compadecerás; vida por vida, ojo por ojo, diente por diente, mano por mano, pie por pie. (Deuteronomio 19: 21)
La Directiva Pacifista. Oísteis que fue dicho: ojo por ojo, y diente por diente. Pero yo os digo: No resistáis al que es malo; antes, a cualquiera que te hiera en la mejilla derecha, vuélvele también la otra. (Mateo 5: 38-39)

Este versículo parece significar un cambio en la ley. ¿Es Dios un mentiroso cuando dice que Él no cambia? O ¿ha abolido Jesús algunas leyes con Su muerte? Yo considero que la ley no ha sido cambiada, Lo que ha cambiado son las circunstancias que afectan como esta ley puede ser ejecutada. Esta era la ley bajo la teocracia. Dios no tiene más una teocracia en la tierra en la cual humanos son agentes de justicia. Nosotros estamos bajo una teocracia pero los administradores están en el cielo. Así que la justicia bajo esta ley será administrada en porciones cuando Él tome venganza desde el tiempo de las siete últimas plagas hasta el fuego del infierno. Él tomará venganza en ese momento. La Venganza es Su territorio de acuerdo a Hebreos 10 porque la justicia del hombre no alcanza justicia.
... Mía es la venganza, y yo daré el pago. (Hebreos 10: 30; Deuteronomio 32: 35)
... Todo hombre sea pronto para oír, tardo para hablar, tardo para airarse; porque la ira del hombre no obra la justicia de Dios. (Santiago 1: 19-20)

¡Dos Ojos por un Ojo! En el castigo final de Babilonia vemos una forma más severa de esta ley otra vez.
Dadle a ella como ella os ha dado, y pagadle doble según sus obras; en el cáliz que ella preparó bebida, preparadle a ella el doble. Cuanto ella se ha glorificado y ha vivido en deleites... (Apocalipsis 18: 6-7)

Many Eyes for an Eye! For the righteous it is even greater! God does not give us what we deserve and He does not simply give us back what we have lost. Instead, He gives us in such abundance that we cannot comprehend it.
It is written, "Things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, and which has not entered into the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him". (1 Corinthians 2: 9)

Odiar a tu Enemigo.
Otra ley que también parece haber sido cambiada.
Oísteis que fue dicho: Amarás a tu prójimo, y aborrecerás a tu enemigo. Pero yo os digo: Amad a vuestros enemigos, bendecid a los que os maldicen, haced bien a los que os aborrecen, y orad por los que os ultrajan y os persiguen". (Mateo 5: 43-44)
Amar a tu Prójimo. No te vengarás, ni guardarás rencor a los hijos de tu pueblo, sino amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. (Levítico 19: 18)
Odiar a tu Enemigo. No entrará amonita ni moabita a la congregación de Jehová… por cuanto no os salieron a recibir con pan y agua al camino….No procurarás la paz de ellos ni su bien en todos los días para siempre. (Deuteronomio 23: 3-6)
La nueva directiva parece decir que tu enemigo debería ser tratado como tu hermano. Esto es porque los gentiles están ahora formalmente incluidos en el plan y el viejo enemigo es ahora tu hermano. Pero en el juicio, aquellos que son echados serán tratados como enemigos bajo esta ley. Aún se supone que nosotros odiamos el mal y resistimos a Satanás y trabajamos para detener su reino. Satanás es nuestro real enemigo.
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed ... (Genesis 3: 15)
» Dios Hace la Paz. La ley no cambió. El estado de la gente que vino bajo esta ley cambió porque Cristo hizo las paces con Sus enemigos. Con Cristo, la casa de Dios se agrandó cuando la definición de prójimo y hermano se hizo más inclusiva.
Pero ahora en Cristo Jesús, vosotros que en otro tiempo estabais lejos, habéis sido hechos cercanos por la sangre de Cristo. Porque Él es nuestra paz, que de ambos pueblos hizo uno, derribando la pared intermedia de separación. (Efesios 2: 11-14)

Apedreado por Adulterio.
Este es otro relato que parece señalar el final de viejas leyes.
Y le dijeron: Maestro, esta mujer has sido sorprendida en el acto mismo de adulterio. Y en la ley nos mandó Moisés a apedrear a tales mujeres. Tú pues, ¿qué dices? … Y como insistieran en preguntarle, se enderezó y les dijo: "el que de vosotros esté sin pecado sea el primero en arrojar la piedra contra ella". (Juan 8: 4, 5,7).
Las acciones de ellos estaban basadas en esta ley.
Si un hombre cometiere adulterio con la mujer de su prójimo, el adúltero y la adúltera indefectiblemente serán muertos. (Levítico 20: 10).
Dios es Juez. En 2 Corintios 5: 10 y otros versículos Dios se señala a si mismo como Jesucristo.
Y nos mandó que predicásemos al pueblo, y testificásemos que él es que Dios ha puesto por Juez de vivos y muertos. (Hechos 10: 42)

Los Pecadores no pueden Juzgar. Dios deliberadamente quita a los seres humanos la tarea de juzgar porque no somos justos. Ningún juez humano ha sido nominado desde la crucifixión. En el futuro, podemos encontrar que los veinticuatro ancianos en el cielo son los jueces humanos nominados divinamente. Pero ningún pecador en la tierra tiene el derecho de de juzgar. Porque en este período cuando el perfecto plan de Dios está siento cumplido todos Sus actos deben ser justos. El debe nombrar jueces justos, una corte justa y establecer un programa para la justicia. No se encontró ninguno entre los humanos que mereciera esta tarea.
No juzguéis, para que no seáis juzgados. Porque con el juicio con que juzgáis, seréis juzgados, y con la vara que medís seréis medidos. (Mateo 7: 1-2)

Apedreando a la Prostituta. Nosotros sabemos que la ley no es cambiada porque es aplicada en el futuro. Babilonia, la prostituta, y las adulteras serán apedreadas por el granizo en la séptima plaga. Ella encontrará su muerte con violencia cuando sea destruida por la Roca en la Segunda Venida.
Y un ángel poderoso tomó una piedra, como una gran piedra de molino, y la arrojó en el mar, diciendo: Con el mismo ímpetu será derribada Babilonia, la gran ciudad, y nunca será hallada. (Apocalipsis 18: 21).

Sumario: ¿Qué Ha Cambiado?
Dios hizo la paz a traves de su muerte y reconcilió a los judíos y a los gentiles. La ley no ha sido cambiada. Nuestros roles y condición han cambiado. Consecuentemente, ciertas posiciones claves, tales como Juez y Sumo Sacerdote y vengador de la sangre, debe ser dado a alguien que es indestructible e incorruptible y compasivo. Solo Cristo reúne estas tres condiciones. Así que hay solo una diferencia entre el período o dispensación antes de Cristo y el período posterior. Los sumos sacerdotes eran mortales y los jueces pervertían la justicia. Después de Cristo, el Sumo Sacerdote fue misericordioso, inmortal e incorruptible.
No constituido conforme a la ley del mandamiento acerca de la descendencia, sino según el poder de una vida indestructible. Y los otros sacerdotes llegaron a ser muchos, debido a que por la muerte no podían continuar; mas éste, por cuanto permanece para siempre, tiene un sacerdocio inmutable. (Hebreos 7: 16, 23-24)

Esto no es simplemente un cambio en condición que anula la ley. Nosotros sabemos que la ley no ha cambiada porque ellas son impuestas al final del tiempo.

Nota. El simbolismo de apedrear a nuestro enemigo, la muerte, es también visto como una piedra puesta sobre una tumba.

Aunque los malvados son ahora nuestros enemigos, no podemos juzgar quienes pertenecen a esta categoría porque el juicio nos ha sido sacado a nosotros. Dios simplemente dice que los gentiles ahora son parte de la familia de Israel y herederos de la promesa.
Toda esta "actitud nueva" de parte de Cristo aparece como un cambio en la ley o un cambio en la política del gobierno de Dios. Pero no es así. Todo lo que Cristo hace está basado en una vieja ley que lo habilita a hacer lo que hace. Estas leyes no se contradicen entre ellas porque Dios no es un autor de confusión.

• Conversión. Al gentil le era permitido convertirse al judaísmo después del bautismo por inmersión. Cuando Juan bautizaba, ¡el hacía a los judíos atravesar este ritual también! ¿Por qué? Porque nosotros éramos todos enemigos de Dios. Y este nuevo bautismo trajo al mundo entero de vuelta a Dios.
• Misericordia y Compasión. Dios se reserva el derecho a ser misericordioso cuando Él quiere, Esto es demostrado por la cubierta de oro que cubre la ley. Este símbolo dice que Dios aún se reservará el derecho a cubrir con su misericordia al pecador que ha roto Su ley.
  ... y tendré misericordia, del que tendré misericordia, y seré clemente para con el que seré clemente. (Éxodo 33: 19)
• Juez. El concepto bíblico de juicios incluía todos los grados de la justicia, incluyendo la ley y el castigo. La Biblia consistentemente define juicio como perteneciendo a Dios y originándose de Él.
  Por mí mismo hice juramento, de mi boca salió palabra en justicia, y o será revocada: Que a mí se doblará toda rodilla, y jurará toda lengua. Y se dirá de mí: Ciertamente en Jehová está la justicia y la fuerza; a él vendrán, y todos los que contra él se enardecen serán avergonzados. (Isaías45: 23-24)
  En Sus justos juicios, Dios organiza un sistema de juicio.
  • El Señala un Juicio. Cristo es juez elegido de todos. (2 Corintios 5: 10 y Hechos 10: 42)
    Porque es necesario que todos nosotros comparezcamos ante el tribunal de Cristo, para que cada uno reciba según lo que haya hecho mientras estaba en el cuerpo, sea bueno o sea malo (2 Corinthians 5: 10.)
    Y nos mandó que predicásemos al pueblo, y testificásemos que él es el que Dios ha puesto por Juez de vivos y muertos. (Hechos 10: 42.)
    
    Nótese el orden de este sistema que hace de Cristo la figura más importante en todas las cosas.
    Cristo primero se convierte en el justo Cordero de Dios. Luego, se convierte en el inmortal Sumo Sacerdote quien es el único que puede entrar al templo a tomar una copia de la ley. Después, Él es nombrado el Rey que lee y refuerza la ley que Él ha recuperado. Entonces, como rey, Él es automáticamente nombrado el Juez en jefe que administra justicia bajo la ley.     Pursue Justice. You shall appoint for yourselves judges and officers in all your towns which the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment Justice and only justice you shall pursue, that you may live and possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you. (Deuteronomy 16: 18, 20)
    Christ is the judge appointed for the New Jerusalem.
  • El establece un tiempo. Dios ha puesto un tiempo para el juicio.
    Así que, no juzguéis nada antes de tiempo, hasta que venga el Señor, el cual aclarará también lo oculto de las tinieblas, y manifestará las intencione de los corazones; y entonces cada uno recibirá su alabanza de Dios. (1 Corintios 4: 5)
  • El Encuentra Dos Testigos Fieles. Los testigos son Cristo y el Espíritu Santo. (Juan 5: 32; Juan 12: 48)
  • Él Establece una Corte. Aquí Él trae el juicio.
    Estuve mirando hasta que fueron puestos tronos, y se sentó un Anciano de días… ...
    millares de millares le servían, y millones de millones asistían delante de Él; El juez se sentó, y los libros fueron abiertos. (Daniel 7: 9-10)
  • El Establece una Ciudad de Refugio. Esta es la Nueva Jerusalem. (Salmos 46: 1. Apocalipsis 21: 1-7)
  • El señala un Sumo Sacerdote Indestructible. Así estamos seguros en la ciudad de Refugio para siempre. (Hebreos 7: 16, 23-24)
• Vengador. Cristo es legalmente nuestro pariente y vengador de nuestra sangre porque hemos sido comprados con Su sangre y adoptados dentro de la familia de Dios. Sumado a esto, Él se hizo humano y se ganó el título de Hijo del Hombre".
  Esta fue la ley en el Antiguo Testamento. Salmos 94: lo llama a Él un "Dios de venganza"
  Mía es la venganza y la retribución… ... (Deuteronomio 32: 35)
  No os venguéis vosotros mismos, amados míos, sino dejad lugar a la ira de Dios; porque escrito está: Mía es la venganza, yo pagaré, dice el Señor (Romanos 12: 19)
  Su última ira será atestiguar en las siete últimas plagas y en el fuego del infierno.
• Reconciliar. El resultado de todas estas viejas actitudes de Dios siendo generosamente aplicadas bajo el nuevo pacto es un ministerio de reconciliación. Dios hizo esto a través del perdón y nosotros debemos aprender de su ejemplo.
  ... Que Dios estaba en Cristo, reconciliando consigo al mundo, no tomándoles en cuenta los hombres sus pecados, y no s encargó a nosotros la palabra de la reconciliación. (2 Corintios 5: 19)

Sumario: La Diferencia entre las Leyes?.
Había diferentes clases de leyes. Todos estamos de acuerdo que el sacrificio de animales por el pecado y las leyes que señalaban la muerte por expiación del pecado ya no es necesario. Cristo había muerto. Estas leyes fueron clavadas en la cruz. Cristo murió una vez por todas las personas, de todos los tiempos. En lo que no estamos de acuerdo es en el estado de las otras leyes. Aún los diez mandamientos.

El pacto requería que el pueblo obedeciera ambos grupos de leyes bajo castigo
... si anduviereis en mis decretos y guardareis mis mandamientos... (Levítico 26: 3)

Sin embargo, parece que mientras las maldiciones fueron totalmente quitadas porque Cristo las sufrió por nosotros, las fiestas fueron simplemente reemplazadas por algo mejor. Las maldiciones no existirán en el cielo, pero las fiestas estarán allí sin la matanza de sacrificios porque el sacrificio permanente ya ha sido hecho.

El Cielo. Para comprender que es lo que ha sido quitado permanentemente, deberíamos mirar a lo que sobrevivirá en el cielo. Es ridículo que Dios haga una ley, la quita y la reinstale en el cielo. Tiene más sentido si Dios nos está dando una mejor comprensión de la ley.

Origen de las Leyes Muchos tratan de minimizar la importancia de las leyes al llamarlas "judías". Pero todas las leyes existían en la creación o con la entrada del pecado, 2000 años antes de que la nación judía fuera llamada. Mandamientos. Existían en la creación Un Dios. (Génesis ) Sábado. (Génesis 2: 3) Matrimonio de Dos. (Génesis 2: 24) No codiciarás. (Génesis 2: 16-17) Mentir. (Génesis 3: 4) Matar. (Génesis 4: 10) Es obvio que las otras leyes existían. Pacto. Reforzado después del pecado. Maldiciones. (Génesis 3: 17-24) Pena de Muerte. (Génesis 2: 17) Sustituto. (Génesis 3: 15)

Sorpresivamente, solamente una cosa ha sido permanentemente quitada. Esta es las maldiciones que han existido desde el Edén y anotadas en el Sinaí. Pero, son quitadas porque la gente guardará la ley.
Así que es más veraz decir que a causa de la obediencia de la gente, las maldiciones no serán aplicadas nunca más.
También, es más veraz decir que a razón de que un sacrificio permanente ha sido hecho, no necesitaremos nunca más realizar sacrificios de animales.

Y no habrá más maldición. (Apocalipsis 22: 3)
Y morarán en ella, y no habrá más maldición, sino que Jerusalén será habitada confiadamente. (Zacarías 14: 11)

Todo lo demás permanece en una forma mucho más penetrante. Echemos un vistazo.

• Los mandamientos. No están más en una fuente externa. Ellos están permanentemente escritos en nuestras mentes y corazones para que nosotros amemos guardarlos. Nadie tiene que enseñarnos lo que es bueno.
• Sábado. Nos reuniremos a adorar a Dios cada luna nueva y cada sábado.
  Porque como los cielos nuevos y la nueva tierra que yo hago permanecerán delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra descendencia y vuestro nombre. Y de mes en mes, y de día de reposo en día de reposo, vendrán todos a adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová. (Isaías 66: 22-23) la versión en inglés de la Biblia dice. "y de luna nueva a otra, y de sábado en sábado…"
• Pascua. La muerte de Cristo hace todo esto posible. El deja el servicio de la comunión y las marcas de los clavos en Su cuerpo como recordatorio de lo que costó el pecado. El tendrá esta santa cena con nosotros en el cielo.
• Pentecostés. Completa la promesa del pacto de escribir la ley en nuestros corazones con la ayuda del Espíritu Santo quien es ahora nuestra constante compañía. Él ahora trabaja para hacernos perfectos.
• Expiación. Dios juzga en nuestro favor y muestra esta aprobación haciéndonos reyes y sacerdotes y viviendo con nosotros.
• Fiesta de los Tabernáculos. La fiesta de los tabernáculos ocurre cada día no solo una vez al año porque estaremos permanentemente con Dios. Pero hasta entonces, el Espíritu Santo es nuestra constante compañía quien cumple esta promesa al vivir en nosotros.
• Leyes Dietarias. Las leyes ene. Cielo son más estrictas. No habrá más muerte. (Apocalipsis 21:4). Así que no mataremos animales para comer. Volveremos a la dieta vegetariana original. Aún los leones comerán paja como las vacas. (Isaías 11 : 6-9)

La Sombra del Cuerpo Espiritual Las leyes físicas del universo muestran que un objeto bañado en luz formará una sombra bajo la mayoría de las circunstancias en la dirección opuesta de la fuente de la luz. Aparentemente, el universo espiritual tiene las mismas leyes. La luz de Cristo en el futuro y las promesas de Dios desde el futuro forman una sombra en el pasado que fue vista en las leyes ceremoniales.

La Ley como Maestro.
¿Cometió Dios un error? ¿Fallaron las ceremonias? No. Estas leyes nunca quisieron tener éxito al olvidar el pecado o hacernos perfectos. Ellas quisieron enseñarnos como Dios haría esto en el futuro.

¿Por qué la ley entonces? Fue añadida a causa de las transgresiones, hasta que viniese la simiente a quien fue hecha la promesa; y fue ordenada por medio de ángeles en mano de un mediador. De manera que la ley ha sido nuestro ayo, para llevarnos a Cristo, a fin de que fuésemos justificados por la fe. Pero venida la fe, ya no estamos bajo ayo. (Gálatas 3: 19, 24, 25).

Sombra. Porque la ley, teniendo la sombra de los bienes venideros, no la imagen misma de las cosas, nunca puede, por los mismos sacrificios que se ofrecen cada año, hacer perfectos a los que se acercan. Porque la sangre de los toros y de los machos cabríos no puede quitar los pecados. (Hebreos 10: 1, 4).

Leyes de Sombra. Por tanto, nadie os juzgue en comida o en bebida, o en cuanto a días de fiesta, luna nueva o días de reposo, todo lo cual es sombra de lo que ha de venir; pero el cuerpo es de Cristo. (Colosenses 2: 16-17).

Pero note que aún cuando Cristo reemplazó estas ofrendas temporales, Él las reemplaza con las mismas ofrendas de bebida y días para celebrar y recordar la obra de Cristo. Él sábado semanal ahora asume todo el significado que esta envuelto en los sábados ceremoniales. En el sábado semanal también debemos recordar que Cristo nos dio un descanso del pecado, de la misma manera que Él mismo descansó del pecado en la tumba el sábado semanal. Cuando celebramos la comunión recordamos la muerte de Cristo hasta su regreso.

La mayoría de la gente que lee esto siempre piensa sobre los diez mandamientos. La ley grabada en piedra será grabada en nuestros corazones. No está anulada. Está fortalecida por la obra del Espíritu Santo.
Pero si usted mira cuidadosamente, fueron solamente las leyes ceremoniales que fueron los maestros, eso nos enseña sobre Cristo. Solamente esas cosas dentro de esas leyes que eran ejecutadas por la muerte y ministerio de Cristo fueron clavadas en la cruz. Cristo no vino a nosotros a darnos libertad para ser inmorales y sin ley. Él vino a darnos la habilidad de ser personas cumplidoras de la ley porque amamos a Dios, amamos la ley y queremos complacer a Dios.

Summary: The Feasts after Christ
Have these laws been abolished? Absolutely not! They still prophesy about Christ. The only custom that is abolished is the sacrifice of an animal. However, the custom and purpose for the Lamb has not been abolished because Christ is the Lamb that is still bleeding and His blood is still fresh. So we still have a slaughtered Lamb to offer to God when we sin.

All the events that the feasts symbolize have not been fulfilled. Therefore, it makes sense that they should still be kept. Jesus said that no law will be abolished until everything is fulfilled.
Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. (Matthew 5: 17)

"Fulfill" must mean the opposite of abolish. Let us look at what has been fulfilled and how we should be keeping these feasts today and then we will summarize the teachings of Paul which seems to suggest that the ceremonial laws have been abolished.

• Daily. This was a corporate offering that was made continually, one lamb in the morning and the other in the evening. So there was always a sacrifice being offered to God.
  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. (1 Corinthians 15: 31)
  » Animal Sacrifice. Christ is the sacrifice that died one time for all. But we should die daily to our sins and we should pray and confess our sins daily. Then we can become the perfect sacrifices that God will use to build His perfect kingdom.
  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12: 1)
  The sacrifice that God has always wanted is real repentance.
  For you do not want sacrifices or I would give them; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. My sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; God, you will not spurn a broken, chastened heart. (Psalm 51: 16-17)
  » Circumcision. This ritual prophesied only about the death of Christ. It was the sign that you had joined the covenant and are willing to die for sin.
  Circumcize Your Heart. In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: (Colossians 2: 11) Deuteronomy 10: 16
  The circumcision of Christ is the crucifixion. Through His death we have a remedy for sin. Paul taught the Gentiles that they did not have to do physical circumcision. They only needed to circumcize their hearts. Both circumcision and killing a lamb point only to the death of Christ. Therefore, doing circumcision for purposes of the covenant is now just as misguided as killing a lamb for atonement.
  However, we need to understand what was done and what is still occurring. We need to pray daily by faith that the blood of the sacrificed Lamb of God is still available for atonement. And we need to circumcize our hearts and cut ourselves off from the love of sin by submitting to God as Moses said.
  Surrender Your Heart. So circumcize your hearts and stiffen your neck no longer. (Deuteronomy 10: 16)
  Circumcised by The Holy Spirit. When the Ten Commandments were written, the words were not simply carved into the stone according to the Jewish tradition, the letters were cut all the way through from the front to the back. Therefore, when the Holy Spirit writes the law into our hearts, He will cut all the way through, like a circumcision (Jeremiah 31: 33).
  The Last Circumcision. Amazingly, we will all be circumcised at the Second Coming. The men who were born during the exodus were not circumcised until they crossed over the Jordan river into the Promised Land with Joshua.
  Their children whom He had raised up in their place, Joshua circumcised, for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them along the way. (Joshua 5: 7)
  At the crucifixion Christ led out as He began the exodus. 2000 years along the way we who were born during the exodus will be circumcised at the Second Coming. Then, our mortal bodies will be cut off (circumcised) and we will put on immortal bodies as we cross over into heaven.
  
  The Five Important Signs of Judaism
  There are other important signs of Judaism in addition to circumcision, let us see how these affect us.
  » SHEMA. The statement of faith that is said daily by the Jews includes most of these signs.
  • Love God and His Law (Deuteronomy 6: 4-9). Constantly remember the law of God and keep His commandments. The Holy Spirit helps us by writing the law of God in our hearts to fulfill the covenant. Jesus points to this statement of the SHMA when He said.
    If you love Me, keep my commandments. (John 14: 15)
    For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5: 3)
    Put on the Tfellin (Phylactery) and Mezuzah. You and your house must be obedient to the laws of God.
    » Tfellin. Boxes containing the law which were strapped on the hand and forehead. The law must be written in our hearts and minds (forehead) so that we can do them (hands). We must be perfect like God.
    » Mezuzah. The law nailed to the doorpost of the house. This is a sign that your house belongs to God.
    Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1: 12)
  • Avoid the Wrath (Deuteronomy 11: 13-31). If you love God and keep His commandments and put on the tfellin and Mezuzah, then you will avoid the wrath of God. This exact warning is repeated in the message of the three angels sent to the final generation (Revelation 14). Therefore, Revelation says that the church after Christ will be obeying the SHEMA.
  • Wear the Tzitzit (Numbers 15: 37-41). The four tassels with a blue cord in the four corners of the outer garment. These are the four nails in the outer corners of the body of Jesus, His hands and feet. Jesus was held to the cross by the law. He submitted to death and obeyed God and stayed on the cross instead of His own desire to end His suffering. Our equivalent is to take up our cross and follow Jesus.
    For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake. (Philippians 1: 29)
    » Take Up Your Cross. So, although you must avoid the wrath of God, you must wear the tzitzit when God requests it and subject yourself to a type of the wrath of God. For this reason Jesus said:
    ... My Father if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me, yet not as I will, but as You will. (Matthew 26: 39)
    When Jesus asked to "let this cup pass from Me", it was not simply a moment of weakness or panic, even in this statement He was obeying another law of the SHEMA to avoid the wrath.
  Like circumcision, all the signs of the SHEMA must now be internalized and become part of us as the law is written in our hearts. So we do not abandon these symbols and their meaning, we keep them more. Wearing these symbols are meaningless if we are not doing them.
  We might not wear the tfellin, but we should be known for constantly talking about the love of God and the laws of God. We might be uncircumcized but we should be known for cutting off the old, sinful lifestyle and turning to God. We might not wear a tzitzit and tallit but we should be known for our self-sacrifice for the kingdom of God.
• Sabbath. There is still a Sabbath rest to commemmorate our final rest from sin. It has not been totally fulfilled. This law has not been abolished because we are still sinning and sin still pollutes the earth.
  For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. (Hebrews 4: 8-11)
